2012年香港青少年舞蹈總會在得到香港政府大力支持下，於香港灣仔伊利莎伯體育館舉辦首屇AEDC，並邀請了多位亞洲舞蹈界權威人士擔任評審。AEDC作為香港首個多元化舞種的亞洲賽事，為推動亞洲舞蹈藝術文化交流，提供了一個絕佳的機會與平台，讓更多具有天賦的優秀學員獲得獎學金，前往世界各地深造，開闊視野，為將來踏上藝術的康莊大道，奠定基礎！

 

With indispensable support from HKSAR Government and many distinguished Asian professionals as Judges, HKYDA has organized the first AEDC in Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Hong Kong in 2012. As Hong Kong’s first large-scale Asian competition covering multiple forms of dance, it has provided an ideal platform and opportunity for exchange of dance culture in Asia. Equally important, it provides scholarships for the talented winners to go abroad for a short-term training. This will broaden their horizon in their road to a dancing career.
